Biographical documentary of an all-American boy who turned communist pop star, Dean Reed. Reed, who lived for many years in East Germany, became the number one popular male singer in the Soviet bloc, and certain South American countries. This film tries to find out what motivated Reed to turn Red. Note: Program has black sub-titles which are difficult to read in sections.
