Episode of Series “Filmstruck Series”.
Filmmaking has never really been studio based. John Baxter, well known Australian film historian and cinema critic, interviews some of the independents. He also takes a look at the Disney animation studio in Burbank, as well as showing us rare footage of a surrealist “Snow White” starring Betty Boop. this program is the final episode in the “Filmstruck” series which considers the impact of cinema on the social and personal life of the viewing audience.
