The medical services for China’s rural people - 80% of the population - were built upon the integration of Chinese traditional and western medical practices. Most basic health care needs can be met by the barefoot doctors. In Chienchou People’s Commune we seethe role played by two of these doctors. Suitable for middle and upper secondary levels.
