Depicts the timber industry in Finland, showing man as a producer and user of the technology involved. The natural highways of lakes and rivers are used to carry pulp to paper mills in Finland. The industry makes reconstruction efforts to reclaim bottom lands for the use of forestry and employs safeguards to avoid exhausting the natural resources.
