Explains the principles of television broadcasting, from the camera tube at the studio to the receiver. Shows how the image is brokenm down into picture elements, clarifies the procedure of interfacing; explains the function of each component of the video signal, shows how the scanning raster is produced and the image reproduced in shades of black and white on the screen.
