Explains the principles of the oxyacetylene welding torch and illustrates the tuypes of work it will perfomr. Shows how acetylene is produced from carbide manufactured from limestone and coke and how this gas is burnt with oxygen manufactured from the air. The regulation of gases in the torch is explained and welding, brazing and cutting techniques are demonstrated. Contains animated segments to illustrate use of equipment.
