Dr E F Schumacher the noted author of the book ‘Small is Beautiful’, describes in clear, elegant and incisive English what man is doing to the forests of southwest Western Australia. Stresses the need for conservation of the Jarrah and Karri forests in order to preserve the unique natural eco-system.
