The world and environment of Moliere portrayed in 17th century drawings and paintings. His satirical comedies “Tartuffe”, “Les Ecole des Femmes”, “L’Avarre” and “Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme” are discussed. Several scenes from the plays, spoken in French, are incorporated. The actors are from La Comedie Francaise. Main commentary in English.
