Illustrates the role of the infantryman in the modern army. Shows his training in the use of weapons and in tactics, illustrates the three types of battle dress adapted to meet the demands of different climates. The weapons shown include the .303 rifle, light and medium machine gun, flame throwers, hand grenades and anti-tank weapons. Today, the infantry has taken to the air and infantrymen are being trained to become members of paratroop units.
