A survey of mineral sand mining on the beaches of Northern NSW and Queensland. Shows the whole process from drilling, analysing, mining and processing the sand for export overseas. The sand produces such minerals as rutile, titanium and zirion - all of which are used in industry. Also shows the rehabilitation of the areas by the company after the mining operation.
