The life and career of Michelangelo, sculptor, painter, architect and poet, whose knowledge of the human body and skill in portraying human emotion throughout the body make him one of the greatest artists and a leading figure of the Italian Renaissance. Original works shown and discussed are “David”, the “Pieta”, “Moses”, the figures of the Medici chapel, and the “Deposition”.
