Shows the work of the Survey Branch of the Department of the Interior on a wide range of undertakings including searching for minerals; carrying out aerial photographic surveys so plans can be drawn before Army exercises; undertaking rugged ground surveys, which include setting up trig stations the basis of all mapping, etc.
