A study of the “white” and “black” rhinoceroses of AFrica and the Indian rhinoceros, showing structure, physical characteristics and movement. Attention is drawn to the urgent need for the conservation and preservation of all species. The white rhino herd at Whipsnade Zoo Park is used to illustrate the role of zoos.
