Cinemagazine items: Small particles of solid fuel burning in a bath of sand made fluid by air forms a bowl of liquid fire - a fire without waste or pollution; plants selectively bred for crops lose a great deal more water through their leaves than their genetic parents; application of a new spray prevents water loss; an electronic token radiates an “open sesame” signal to doors in a security area.
