Cinemagazine items: A 6 ft high roadside thermometer turns white when freezing temperatures prevail warning motorists of less than favourable driving conditions; the chemical industries mechanical jungles of tangled metalwork are being replaced by installations where you can see exactly what is going on giving greater control and safety; an electric wheelchair, designed to give “go-anywhere” mobility to the disabled can climb steps up to 5 inches high and climb slopes of up to 1 in 2.
