Gives glimpses of many of the best known radio entertainers in Australia and of popular programs being rehearsed and broadcast. The film emphasises that commercial broadcasting stations provide an entertainment service that is popular with the person in the street. it also shows how they provide the community with other services such as flood and fire warnings in country districts, police messages etc. Commentary: Jack Davey
