The Commonwealth Employment Service established shortly after World War II, aims at finding a job suitable for the person and a person suitable for the job. Each district office has an up to date list of vacancies in its own and in other areas. Finding specialists for professional employment, placing handicapped people in work and arranging employment for migrants are important aspects of the work, and play their part in building Australia’s future.
