On Sunday December 17th, 1967, Harold Holt, 18th Prime Minister of Australia, disappeared while swimming at Cheviot Beach near his holiday home at Portsea in Victoria. This film shows the memorial service held on December 22nd which was attended by many national leaders including President Johnson of the United States, and Prince Charles representing the Queen. Portrays the mood of a nation mourning the loss of a leader.
