Shows the construction of an iron ore mine at Mount Tom Price in the Hamersley Range of Western Australia. In 1962 enormous high grade ore deposits were discovered, Hamersley Iron was contracted to supply ore to Japan in 1966. The silence of the arid red land was shattered by immense pieces of machinery feverishly working to meet the deadline.
