Presents the many employment opportunities in the Victorian Railways. A young boy playing with his toys, including a train, dreams of his future. He becomes a station assistant. Shows how he learns his job and benefits from the V.R.I. library and sporting clubs. Includes executive officers who started at the bottom and worked their way to the top.
