This colourful introduction to India’s greatest theatre tradition - the dance-drama of Kathakali features the Kerala Kalamadalam Company performing dances of the State of Kerala which have evolved out of the Sanskrit tradition and the indigenous Dravidian culture. The dancers display a great richness of costume, vivid colour and originality of head-dress.
