This film discusses the land and people of northern Nigeria. It covers the ancient cities of Kano, Sokoto, Ilorin and Katsina, with the dazzling spectacle of the Sallah, presided over by the Emir. Shows traditional crafts flourishing alongside modern developments in industry, education, health and welfare. (Award: Grand Award at the Third African Film Festival, 1959).
