Malaya is populated by people of many races e.g. Chinese, Indians, Malays. This film shows the signing of the Federation of the Malay States - the first step towards their independence - and how this was celebrated throughout the land by young and old alike. Also points out importance of Malaya’s two greatest industries, tin and rubber.
