A report from the southern states of USA on the notorious Ku-Klux Klan society founded after the Civil War to maintain white protestant supremacy. Shows Tuscaloosa in Alabama, one of the main centres of activity, and interviews Robert Sheldon, Imperial Wizard of the Klan, and Charles Morgan, a Birmingham lawyer, who regards the organisation as a collection of murderers. Collie Leroy Wilkinson, acquitted of the murder of the Civil Rights worker Mrs Violet Liuzzo, is introduced at a meeting as a hero. Includes 1921 and 1925 archival footage.
