A glimpse of the various stages of set designing for theatre productions. Beginning with rough sketches from a conference involving the designer, director, technicians and gaffers and concluding with the completion of a set. Shows some of the problems encountered during the process, stressing the need for collaboration between the director and working crew. Two set are developed, an interior and an exterior. Produced in co-operation with Dr. Maurice Gnesin, director of the Goodman Memorial Theatre.
