This film is intended to illustrate the importance of good and appropriate clothing for salesmen. The story is of an unsuccessful salesman who could not get promotion until he is taken in hand by a fellow traveller who persuades him to improve his appearance by wearing better chosen and more appropriate clothing. He is shown choosing a hat, suit and tie and the reason of his choice is explained. The result builds his self confidence and he is then successful in his work.
