Visits to Largs and Dunoon, Rothesay and Loch Lomond; scientists working at a Fishing Research Station, holiday-makers on steamer trips up and down the firth; seals playing around the Kyles of Bute. Finally Braden visits Arran, the island where his grandparents left to sail for the new world.
