Duties of a Police Constable in the United Kingdom - his kindness, his firmness, and discretion in dealing with the routine as well as the dramatic duties he is sometimes called upon to perform. The services of the policeman to the community are many and the responsibilities of the public in co-operation with their guardians of law and order are illustrated.
