Episode of Series “Wild Australia”.
Depicts birdlife on the salt lagoons of the Coorong, S.A., including banded stilts, cormorants and dotterels. Includes a longer study of the colony of pelicans on Pelican Island, especially the play behaviour and feeding of fledglings. John Olsen’s paintings are featured also in this documentary. Suitable for upper primary and secondary levels.
