Presents a dramatized reenactment of the events surrounding Robert O’Hara Burke through the memories of his friends. Aspects of his life, the Burke and Wills Expedition and his death are reconstructed. Introduced by Manning Clark and written by Thomas Keneally. Cast includes Tony Allyn as Burke, Cornelia Frances, Ian Nimmo, Richard Lupina, Don Philps, David Williams, Clive Marshall and Shirley Sunners.
