Illustrates the principles which lie behind the design and manufacture of survey equipment. This film explains in detail the method measuring a “Base Line” as a first stage in land survey by triangulation method. Emphasises the corrections which have to be made when using base line equipment to allow for errors due to gravity, direction and height above sea level. No other credits available.
