The work of Arid Zones Research Institute in Peru. Research on the soil, underground water, climate and farming practice in the Ica valley. How areas of desert have been brought into production, chiefly for high quality cotton. Incidental impressions of the life of the people, with a background of Peruvian folk music. No other credits available. Produced for UNESCO.
