Architect Athfield

Examines the practical philosophy, the achievements and frustrations of one of New Zealand’s most lively and innovative architects, Ian Athfield. In 1975 Athfield won an international competition directed towards providing housing for 140,000 squatters from the Tondo area in Manila.
