Various animal homes are evaluated as places for rearing young, in terms of protection afforded by environment, location, and building materials. The duck, grebe, beaver, stickle-back, rabbit, horned lark, robin, eagle, squirrel, gopher, prairie dog, wasp and cliff swallow are shown and discussed.
