Revolution, nationalism, liberty, war, and industrialisation, were the main themes in the history of Europe from 1789 to 1870. This looks at the effects of the two main revolutions in this time, on the whole of Europe. The French Revolution brought new ideas and politics, and the Industrial Revolution brought new wealth and motives, and an urban industrialised society
