The growth and activities of chipmunk babies in their own home from early spring to the beginning of winter. The babies at the age of three weeks; two weeks later they leave through the tunnel to explore the outside world; how the mother chipmunk cares for her babies; how chipmunks work together to dig new tunnels and add rooms to their den; how they gather and store nuts to last the winter.
