Zoetrope

Film

Animation device called Zoetrope and assorted animation strips. Body of Zoetrope is a cylinder formation closed on bottom and open at top with a series of slits around top rim and painted green. Wood spindle joins cylinder to metal tiered stand. Zoetrope has five various themed printed paper animation strips depicting illustrations of a sequence of drawings showing motion. Animation strips are either black and white or mono coloured with an animation on both sides.

Content notification
