Make this natural landscape come alive just by interacting with it. Once you enter the space, plants mimic your gestures to germinate and grow, leaves lean towards you and flowers blossom, obscuring the warm digital sun.

Universal Everything (UE) often take inspiration from nature. Although computers and creative software are used to create the artworks, another important part of the process is wandering (and wondering) through nature. In this interactive artwork, UE wanted to capture the poetic feeling of komorebi – a Japanese word that describes the moment in the early morning or late afternoon when sunlight shines through leaves.

The unique soundscape captures field recordings from the rugged landscape and forests of the Peak District, near UE’s home in England. The sun radiates a constant sonic beat and each player is assigned a distinct sound that harmonises with the others.
