This video features in a responsive display in the museum that presents the moments, stories and memes capturing the zeitgeist by going viral on the internet.

This video remixes former Prime Minister Julia Gillard’s iconic ‘Misogyny Speech’ with an early example of the common ‘get ready with me’ TikTok trend. User Minorfauna readies to go out while lip-synching the famous speech, which Gillard delivered during a parliamentary address after being labelled sexist by the opposition leader. By mixing the speech with a trend largely perceived to be led by women, Minorfauna takes aim at sexist and outdated assumptions about women – much like Gillard, whose iconic speech was voted the most unforgettable moment in Australian TV history by Guardian readers.
