These Logies recognise Lisa McCune’s work as Constable Margret Doyle on the series Blue Heelers (1994-2006). Netting her four golden Logies and ten overall, the character was praised as one of the strongest parts of the show. The episode in which Margret is killed, ‘One More Day’, is considered one of the best of the series and a landmark moment in Australian television. The part propelling her to stardom, McCune later enjoyed success in Sea Patrol (2007–2011), another series by Blue Heelers co-creator Hal McElroy, in addition to numerous other roles in various TV shows and films.
