MTV's Beavis and Butt-head for Game Boy

Australia, 1998

Videogame

Based on the animated TV series of the same name, the player controls either Beavis or Butt-Head in their quest to escape school and join a gang. Each level’s basic goal is to find the exit without dying, while fetching items or completing objectives along the way. Neither protagonist has a weapon but can find items like tomatoes and spit balls in the environment to use. Powerups can also give the player extra lives or invincibility. The game’s perspective can shift from top-down to side scrolling depending on the level.
