Film ACMI commissions Australian animation
[Darcy Prendergast's Light Pen Animation] thumbnail image.

Animator Darcy Prendergast was commissioned by ACMI to make some light-hearted works – representing film, TV and games – for display on screens throughout the ACMI building. Using his lightpen technique and combining computer animated movement with real-life locations, the films are a ‘hat-tip’ to the internationally popular feature films and characters of the Australian film industry.
