Martu Elder Nyarri Nyarri Morgan

A stunning VR experience, acclaimed filmmaker and artist Lynette Wallworth’s Collisions invites audiences on a journey to the land of indigenous elder, Nyarri Nyarri Morgan and the Martu tribe in the remote Western Australian desert.

When Nyarri Nyarri Morgan witnessed nuclear bomb testing in the Maralinga, he came into contact with western culture for the first time. It was a complete collision between technology and one of the oldest cultures in the world. The possibilities of virtual reality inspired artist Lynette Wallworth so much that, upon meeting Nyarri, she knew that it would be the perfect kind of immersive technology to share his story.
