The acquisition of time-based media artworks requires our collection team to develop a host of preservation strategies that often go unseen by visitors. These strategies include the receipt of master moving-image files and provenance documentation. Soda_Jerk’s acquisition, presented here, displays their political and humorous sense of creativity as the humble certificate of authenticity and external hard drive packaging get a playful overhaul, which reflects the subversive nature of the artwork, TERROR NULLIUS.
