Countdown (1974–87) was not only one of the first television programs in the world to regularly play music videos, but it also created clips for local acts such as It’s A Long Way To The Top (1976) for AC/DC. The footage of the band travelling down Melbourne’s Swanston Street on the back of a truck as they perform live became so iconic, it led to the city naming a key piece of geography after them in 2004: ACDC Lane.
