‘My City Walkabout’ is a film with a French New Wave aesthetic that follows an Aboriginal man searching for his place in modern Australian society. Set in the man’s dream, the film explores magic realism sequences to illustrate the protagonist’s desire to alter his reality and ultimately find his identity.
