Josip tells of his upbringing on a farm in Coatia and how the lure of a better life brought him to Australia, Geelong and, eventually, to Brintons Carpets. Learning English within a few years, Josip soon became a shop steward and a representative on the Consultative Committee and he tells of the closure of Brintons and how it led to his retirement.
