Hammourabi, king of Babylon writes the first legal code. In this world made of rival cities, visionary rulers push and battle to built vast empires. This episode follows Darius, king of Persia and his many battles to expand his empire eastward to encompass Greece and Athens. It also recounts the formidable epic of Alexander the Great who succeeded in uniting Greece and Persia under his command.
