Max is a cop obsessed with catching criminals ‘in the act’. After a few misfortunes, he turns his attention to small time criminals. Abel, a childhood friend of Max is running a scam with a gang of metal scrappers. Unbeknownst to Abel, Max becomes acquainted with his girlfriend Lily, a prostitute. For Lily, Max becomes Felix, a rich bank manager and a regular client. Slowly, Felix/Max feeds Lily information about his bank in order to incite Abel and his gang to commit a failsafe hit.
