Following the success of Jules Dassin’s ‘Rififi’, producers decided to exploit the franchise. A number of caper dramas involving a complex robbery were produced in a variety of locations, including Japan. In this particular installment a gang of thieves is planning on taking hold of a single diamond stored in the vaults of a Japanese bank.
